Hrm….I honestly don’t know what to pick for a story. I guess…. I’ll talk about… FIRST TIME IN THE OCEAN. Excuse me if it’s a bit long winded…
It was in Cancun, and I was…8? Something like that. Summer break had just come around and my parents surprised me (us I guess…) with a trip to Cancun. We stayed at a nice hotel… whose name I can’t remember. Eh. Well, what was so nice was the convenient beach front that was UNUSED when we got there. So we just headed out there one evening before dinner and my dad wanted me to go swimming with him. As soon as I went in, I was hit by a cold sensation. And then a burning one. In my eyes. Obviously I didn’t know salt water would make my eyes sting for who knows how long. And my legs. I was clumsy as a kid. So I sat outside, and had a towel around my face to get the salt out. It was there for awhile. BUT. After I adjusted, we swam out to a sand bar, and just chilled there, sitting on….the sand. And being eaten by waves. I never really got over my eyes stinging, so they had that kind of…stinging…feeling on them for the rest of the trip. Very enjoyable though.
Meh. Bad story. But I couldn’t pick one.
